Semester and Quarter credit hours

Florida Vedic College is on a "semester credit hour" system. Some colleges are on a "quarter credit hour" system. We use the terms "hour" and "credit" and "unit" interchangeably.

We equate quarter hours to semester hours at the following rate:

1.5 Quarter hours = 1 Semester hour

A 4.5 quarter hour course will transfer to FVC as a 3 semester hour course.
